What To Expect
Our Church is a great place to be!
We know that your first time to a new church can be a little uncomfortable, especially for your kids.
So here are a few clues as to what you can expect...
Will I get lost?
Directions can be found on our Directions Page located on the left hand tool bar. Simply click the
directions link and it will guide you to our Sunday Worship Experience. Once you arrive on Sunday, reserved
parking can be found for guests as you enter. You will be greeted warmly with a handshake or hug and the
signs will direct you to our guest center, children's ministry, and auditorium.
How should I dress?
Come in jeans and a t-shirt, or wear a 3-piece suit, whatever is comfortable to you. We are more concerned
that you are dressed for success on the inside.
What is the music like?
Our praise and worship is not the traditional organ and choir that some may be used to. Our music is
contemporary and upbeat similar to something you might hear on your local Christian radio station.
No matter what the style, our focus is on His presence.
What are the messages like?
Pastor Joe aims his messages to be relevant and applicable for everyday life. Fun, passionate, creative
and informative in about 30 minutes.
What about my kids?
Your kids will have a blast in Kids Life! Games, music video sing alongs, video illiustrations for and
scripturally sound Bible lessons for all ages. We have a registration counter on the left side of our lobby
where you can register your child for Kids Life. We hope you take full advantage of our kid's ministry each
and every Sunday and we can’t wait to see you there!
What about my baby?
You are more than welcome to keep your baby with you in service or register you blessing in our nursery.
We strive for excellent care and safety of your baby is the highest priority. We hope you take full advantage
of our baby ministry each Sunday!
Who will be working with my children?
Our kids life is full of fun, excitement and devotion to Christ. We love children at Gateway and make them
priority. We carefully screen and do a background check on all volunteers that work with the children. We
have a great team of loving and caring volunteers to take care of your children so you can have peace of mind
while in service.
What about my teenager?
Students ages 12 and older participate in our main service. On the fourth Sunday the Youth have their
own class on Sunday Mornings. On Wednesday evenings we offer a youth service for grades 6-12. We hope you
take full advantage of our youth ministry. For more information email our youth director Sarah at
